Here's the latest of the series of crossnumber puzzles I've constructed using the PuzzleMe® platform from Amuse Labs. Still not dense enough, but I think the clues are interesting and it should be fun. Enjoy! (I should say, as far as instructions go, all answers are rounded to the nearest whole number on the grid.)

December 26 – Boxing Day/Kwanzaa

 Read emergency information pertaining to the snowy day. Then it was the conclusion of... How The Witch Got Alf  by Cora Annett (author) and Steven Kellogg (illustrator) – Alf is a donkey who thinks he is the only one in the household who really works and doesn't receive anything for his troubles. He decides to run away forever, and ends up on the roof of the cottage to carry out his plan. The couple who work the farm think that Alf has been taken by witches, and after two days, they decide that they will get a new donkey. Alf hears this and decides to come down. And they all live happily ever after.
